A very big congratulations to our four Advanced 2 students Madison, Layla, Seija and Madison, (Miss Madi)who this week completed their final formal Royal Academy of Dance examination.

To reach this level takes incredible dedication, discipline, commitment and hard work over many years, we could not be more incredibly proud of these young ladies and everything they have given to their dance training. ❤️

All are full-time university students with part-time jobs, yet they have kept the many hours of dance training up per week to achieve this level
Thank you to the many past and present teachers who have helped the girls achieve this goal.

Days 3 & 4 of our Sydney Dance Education Tour ✨

Thursday morning began at Ev&Bow with two amazing classes with Sarah Boulter and Cass. A huge thank you to Sarah, Cass and Lisa for such a warm welcome and for sharing your knowledge with our dancers.

Thursday afternoon brought another very warm welcome, this time at ETTINGSHAUSENS we met Jo and Travetta, followed by fantastic classes with Maddie and Ethan.

We finished the day with dinner at La Guillotine where we were thoroughly spoilt by Joe, Joseph and Mama’s cooking ❤️ And of course, the annual photo with Joseph!

Friday morning we said goodbye to Zara Tower Apartments and headed to Sydney Dance Company Sydney Dance Company for an incredible day of classes.

A huge thank you to Miss Nadine’s childhood friend Linda Gamblin who is Head of training for always accomodating our students. Also Lawrence and Justine for your wonderful hospitality, and to Iona and Nat for the amazing classes.

✨ Two Fabulous Days so far on our Sydney Dance Education Tour!

Our first day was spent catching up with alumni from The Premier Dance Academy and hearing all about their exciting careers and experiences working in the Dance industry. It was so inspiring for our current students to hear firsthand about the many pathways available within the world of dance.

Today was our first full day of Dance lessons, and we had the absolute privilege of training at Dance North Academy Dance North Academy with the wonderful Adam Blanche and Danny Radojevic.

A huge thank you to the Dance North Academy team for always making us feel so welcome. We truly appreciate your generosity and hospitality! ❤️

We’ve also enjoyed some lovely meals together, plenty of laughs and lots of special moments with this tremendous bunch of young ladies.

Yesterday, Miss Nadine had the privilege of being invited to Parliament House for a roundtable discussion with Jess Pugh MP Jonty Bush - Member for Cooper Glenn Butcher MP joining 10 other representatives from the dance industry to discuss how we can get the current government to extend the Queensland Play On Sport Vouchers to include dance students.

It is incredibly unfair that families miss out on this support simply because their child’s passion is dance. Dance provides the same lifelong benefits as many other activities, and we believe dance families deserve equal access to these vouchers.

We won’t give up. With the support of these wonderful politicians and the wider dance community, we will continue to fight for this important change.

Congratulations to our beautiful Grace who trained at Sayers Dance Centre from the age of 4 to the end of her high school years..
This is an amazing accomplishment and to be one of 80 students from around the world competing, including 6 other Australians, is it true honour.

This year Grace is training as a pre-professional student with the Newcastle Ballet Theatre .

Congratulations to Grace Cruwys (QLD), who has been selected to represent Australia at The Fonteyn!

Grace joins six fellow Australian candidates who will travel to London to compete in one of the world's most prestigious ballet competitions.

It was a joy to watch her shine on stage in last night’s performance with QCD. QCD Pre-Professional | Qld College of Dance

Josie is now studying Musical Theatre as a full-time student, and we couldn’t be prouder to watch her journey unfold.

Having trained with Sayers from the age of 4 right through to the end of high school, it has been a privilege to be part of your dance journey.
