I knew breakups hurt, but I didn’t expect the silence to be this loud.
The empty bed. The quiet house. The lack of texts, calls, check-ins. Even when things weren’t good between us, at least I felt like I had someone. Now, it’s just me.
And at first, that felt unbearable.
But something shifted when I stopped running from the loneliness and started facing it. Instead of filling every empty moment with distractions, I let myself sit with it. I cried. I screamed into my pillow. And then, I started asking myself—what do I want? What makes me feel whole?
I’m still figuring it out. But I’m no longer afraid of being alone.
One quiet moment at a time.
If this resonates, you’re not alone in this. Join my membership or book a session, and let’s navigate this together.

In this video, I explain why this pain is about loss and fear rather than simple jealousy, why your children’s relationship with her cannot replace their relationship with you, and how to respond when they come home excitedly talking about Dad’s new girlfriend.

Behind the Belief:
Their new relationship isn’t proof of your worth.
It’s proof of their ability to move on—often before you even knew you needed to.
Your value isn’t measured by how quickly they replace you.
