Telethon approved Fundraiser going down on October 10th .. we’d appreciate all the support from our amazing community🫶🏼

Legends… on October 10th we’re doing something very special.
We’re hosting a 24-hour Telethon-approved fundraiser for our little superhero Telethon kids… 24 workouts, one every hour - for 24 hours, each one dedicated to a little superhero with their own story.
Every hour we stop and tell that hour’s superhero’s story, on the gym floor, and in the community zone. The bit of pain and tiredness over 24 hours is nothing compared to what these kids and their families are going through.
It’s not just the gym floor, we’ve got a community zone running the whole 24 hours: a community deadlift platform, a 24hr cardio station, kids workout zones, and vendors like face painting and hair braiding. So if you’re not training, you can still come down and be part of it. All funds go to our Telethon-approved donation link.
There’s a QR code on every poster around the gym and on our page - scan it, and every dollar goes straight to these little superheroes through Telethon 7.
If you run a business in Byford or Perth: vendor, sponsor, supplier, doesn’t matter, we’ve still got room on the floor and in the community zone on October 10th. In-kind or cash, we’d love your support in whatever capacity possible. DM us TELETHON and we’ll send you the vendor and sponsor pack before the space fills up.
If you know a Telethon kid, please reach out, I’d love to get to know as many as possible before October 10th.

5 years is long enough to become unrecognisable to your old self… if you’re putting in the work.
29-year-old Ben would be surprised by two things: how much I’ve grown as a dad, husband, leader, and how little other people’s opinions affect me now..

Every one of my Byford team was a member at LPFIT first. Little did I know, it’s a specific hiring strategy.
Referral hires stay ~70% longer and perform ~33% better than platform hires.
Member hires are that, plus they’ve proven they believe in what we’re building before they’re on payroll.
I asked 3 of my team members what surprised them most after joining the team, not why they joined:
Adriana: “How much goes on behind the scenes & how invested we all are in our members’ goals and progress.”
Emma: “Ben knew my name on day one. I felt like part of the team, not a member.” Nine years on, still fun, safe, full of friendships.
Amber: it wasn’t one moment - it was watching members achieve things they didn’t think they could, and realising how invested she’d become.
This only works if what your team experience matches what your members experience. If it doesn’t, you’re not hiring culture-fits, you’re importing disappointment.
