New! RC10B7 Factory Team caged thrust bearing slipper conversion and FT 3-pad slipper hubs.
The caged thrust slipper greatly reduces the chances of your slipper nut loosening over the course of your run and the 3-pad slipper is more consistent as well due to its better heat dissipation over the traditional 2-pad system.

*T84 chassis and 73mm front end parts on the B84*
Team Associated have released some updated parts for the front of the B84. These include wider A/B blocks, 3mm shorter arms, matching tower and bumper, and a wider chassis (which was released on the T84 mini truggy).
These parts give a wider pivot on the front. The main benefit of a wider pivot is that the roll centre drops more as the car rolls, which can smooth out the steering especially in higher grip. The shock and anti-roll bar geometry is unchanged with these parts.
We have been testing these parts and have found in higher grip conditions (eg the oiled track at Keilor on silver ellipses) these have smoothed out the steering and made the car easier to drive. We use the longer front upper link setting in these conditions. In lower grip we have found the shorter link (using the outer camber link hole in the tower) feels best.
Edit: you don't need the chassis to run the wider pivots as they will mount to the original b84 and b84 V2 chassis. But if you want to run the T84 wider front end chassis you need to run the wider pivots.

Had a fun time racing my at the Chargers RC track in Brisbane last weekend for the QLD titles! Qualified and finished 4th. It's a very unique surface similar to a BMX track. Next to the modern track is an old school vintage dirt track and had a very fun session driving old 6 gear RC10s on the track thanks to the local club members!
Lachlan Munday RC Racer had another good weekend with P2 in 2w mod and Truck and P3 in 4w mod.
The club is one of the best around and I highly recommend you check it out!
Thanks Steve Watts for the great action pics :)

3 New 1/10 Outdoor dirt tyre designs dropping from this week!
I haven't tested these yet but looking at the patterns this is where I would see them being used:
Kosmos: big pins, usually suitable for loose or broken surface
Frizzy: small sharp pins, good for wet and loamy tracks
X-Bite: combination of X bars in the centre and square pins outer, should be good for tracks that are hard packed but still dusty
All are available in Rear and 4wd front, all in green compound.

*Mallee Madness B7.1D / Reedy 610r setups Outdoors*
Setup sheets and car pictures from the weekend at Mildura RC Car Club. The track is a red dirt outdoors track with low/med grip, some bumpy sections and some big jumps. My B7.1d with Reedy power and JC tyres and aero was really nice to drive and allowed me to sneak in a win:)
This setup is similar to what we used at the world titles and we run something similar on most of our outdoor dirt tracks here.
With the B7.1 rear arms now having the shock holes molded in both sides the reversed arm setup is now very easy. You will need to use a longer rear shock bolt on the tower (I use 30mm) and space the shock forward 6mm. The molded in rear shock mounts on the v2 arms are 1 hole inboard from the standard shock mounts so if you are using the v2 arms in reversed position use the middle hole. If you are using v1 arms and drilling, use the standard inner hole as a guide.
These setups are developed with lots of collaboration and testing across all of the Team Associated Australia team.
Any questions let me know.

Stoked to take 1st place in 2w mod at Mallee Madness 18 at Mildura RC Car Club! 2019 was the last time I was able to take a win in this series so it was a pretty good feeling.
My B7.1d was awesome to drive on the red dirt using JC Double Dee V2 and Reedy 8.5t power. This is one of my favorite places to race and the track this year was a super fun layout.
I'll post some setups shortly.
Massive thanks to my sponsors and team for their ongoing support!

*Setups from ACT Titles Outdoor dirt track*
Last weekend we attended the ACT titles at the Canberra track and Lachlan had a great event finishing on the podium in both 2w and 4w mod and taking out mod truck. The control tyre was the Rawspeed same as used at the worlds last year.
Any questions let me know and check out Lachlan Munday RC Racer page for some videos from the event :)
