A huge congratulations to Macey Boyle, who has officially been announced as a Southside Flyers WNBL Development player!

Macey’s basketball journey has strong Keilor roots, having played representative basketball with Keilor Thunder from Under 12s, as well as growing up playing junior domestic basketball with St Christopher’s.

Those who have watched Macey develop over the years know just how much work she has put into her game. Her commitment, determination and love for basketball have helped her earn this incredible opportunity at the next level.

As previously announced, Megan Jarvis will be stepping away from her role as Head Coach of our Youth League Women team..

And there was no better way to finish her four-year coaching journey than with a Championship. ❤️🖤

On Saturday night, Megan led the Thunder to the Big V Youth League Women’s Championship, putting the perfect exclamation point on an incredible coaching tenure.

Across four seasons, Megan has:
🏆 Won a Big V Youth League Championship
🥇 Been named Coach of the Year once
⭐ Been nominated for Coach of the Year twice
🏀 Led the program to two Grand Final appearances
🔥 Guided the team to a Preliminary Final appearance

A lifelong Thunder person, Megan’s contribution to the Association goes far beyond the court. While she is stepping away from the Head Coach role, she will continue to make a huge impact in her full-time position as High-Performance Manager.

Saturday night was the perfect way to close out her time on the sidelines — a Championship in her final game as Head Coach.** 🏆
