Message from the President….

The success of Kawana Football Club has always been built on our people. Volunteers , players, coaches, families and supporters all pulling in the same direction for the greater good of the club.

This year, several valued committee members are not standing for re-election, creating an exciting opportunity for new people to step forward and make a difference.

If you’re passionate about Kawana FC and want to help shape its future, come along, get involved and have your say.

Your voice, your ideas and your contribution can make a difference.

Come and join the atmosphere…..

For those of you coming tomorrow this is where we will be set up (there is a can bar right there too) from 12:00pm Saturday starting with the u23 women, 2:00pm for the u23 men then 7:30pm for the main game, FQPL 3 Men.

There is also a photo of what you can and can’t bring to the venue

Make sure you buy your tickets online beforehand to avoid long queues

More importantly bring your loud voice, wear your shirt and enjoy the Grand final experience.

Please note to everyone who is coming to our club tonight. We hope everyone will have an enjoyable night and good luck to all the teams competing.

* Bar & Canteen Open from 5:30pm til late.

* We hold a liquor licence, NO BYO alcohol allowed.

* No dogs allowed (service dogs with the correct paperwork) you will be asked to leave or watch from outside the perimeter fence.

🔵🟡 GET WELL SOON MATE 🟡🔵

Jeremy Stewart suffers severe leg injury….

Last night’s epic FQPL 3 win was marred by a serious leg injury to our striker Jeremy Stewart. Jeremy was taken straight to hospital with what was suspected a double break in his lower leg. It was later confirmed that both bones were broken, the Tibia and Fibula and is now awaiting surgery, hopefully tomorrow.

Jezza is a much loved member of our club and the wider Sunshine Coast football community.

On behalf of Jeremy, the club would like to thank everyone who helped out last night, with special thanks to Lachlan, Zara and Kim for their guidance and expertise. Another special mention to Jeremy’s partner Bek, who helped keep him calm early and while they waited for the Ambulance.

Jeremy would like to also thank everyone who has reached out, checked in and sent their best wishes and support over the last 24 hours. It’s been a pretty rough 24 hours, so all the messages and support have meant a lot.

All the best with your recovery mate and we hope to see you up and about very soon. 💛💙💛
