Raiders Boxing Club is a Karratha based boxing gym offering real boxing training for all fitness
levels. From cardio sessions to perfecting your technique, we are a fully competitive club who increases training sessions prior to a tournament to ensure your highest potential is being achieved. Youth & Adults classes are based at the brand new Tambrey Pavilion. Enjoy high quality training at an affordable price, with no contracts or membership fees required. OUR HUMBLE HISTORY
Established in 2011 in Karratha's LIA, The Raiders soon became a fully competitive boxing club. In October 2011 the RBC held its first local Boxing Tournament at the old Entertainment Centre, since then we have hosted 7 more shows bringing stars such as Glen Jakovich, Tim Gossage and Danny Green to town. Interest in our club increased significantly after the success of the tournament at the Leisureplex in 2014, in particular demand for Youth Classes. With this in mind we relocated in to town so the youth could get to us easier. Our class numbers have steadily increased in the last 2 years, with an array of fitness levels and boxing experience. We recently have been granted use of the brand new Tambrey Pavilion which we're looking forward to making our home in 2017. Raiders Boxing Club is a family run, non-for profit organization. HEAD / TECHNIQUE COACH
Head Boxing Coach, Shane McDonald is a former professional fighter and Amateur National Champion boxer. Shane runs the boxing classes and works closely with his fighters to ensure they are prepared to compete in tournaments. If you're a little less competitive Shane will help you perfect your technique so you're getting 100% out of your workout - every time. FITNESS COACH
Ralph Acker has been a member of the Raiders since its founding in 2010 and became our Fitness Coach in 2016. Ralph runs our Cardio, Strength & Conditioning classes which are boxing specific. These classes assist the competitors of the club to get their fitness to competition level, but don't worry, if you're not looking to compete these classes are perfect for overall fitness training.
