🥋 Junior Grading – Wednesday

Hi team! This Wednesday will be our first junior grading at the new venue, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone on the mats! 🤙

It would be great to have a few extra adults around to help out with the grading, so if you’re available, we’d really appreciate the extra hands.

Parents: If you could please log into your Gymdesk account and make sure your child’s current belt and stripe rank is up to date, it will help us make sure we have everyone correctly accounted for before Wednesday.

If you’re unsure of your child’s current rank, just flick us a message beforehand and we can make sure we’re prepared.

For the kids who are currently on 4 stripes, they will be grading for their next belt this Wednesday. 🥋🎉

If your child doesn’t have a gi or belt yet, that’s absolutely fine — they can still participate, but they’ll receive their stripe at the next grading once they have their gi and belt.

Hey team, couple of quick announcements.

📣 We will be swapping our Monday adults gi class with Wednesday adults nogi class moving forward, this means from tomorrow wear your lycra instead of your pyjamas 🥋🔄🚴

📣 During the school holidays we will be running free junior classes from 6pm on Wednesdays with coach Collins, it is open to all juniors whether enrolled in term 3 or not or any kids that want to come and check us out before term 3 begins.

📣 We will have our junior grading around the middle of term 3, we will send an email to parents and announce it at training a couple weeks into term 3 once the date has been decided.

📣 If all members could please login with the email they signed up with on the gymdesk website and make sure their rank and details are all correct it would be greatly appreciated, it will help us for gradings moving forward.

Hello Team, In our first four weeks, we have welcomed over 40 new members. A reminder to select the 'Member' option when signing up to start your membership. First-time members can choose a trial option that includes our waiver. Please be aware that 'Visitor' status is for those not participating. Once you have signed up for a membership if you don't receive the waiver you can then login to your member portal and find the waiver under documents to fill out online. To ensure safety, please sign the waiver before using the mats. Should you need any help, please reach out. We're looking forward to our gi class tonight at 7 pm at the Tambrey Pavilion.

Our first class will be tonight with juniors from 6pm following by adults no-gi at 7pm, if you have not registered yet please do so through our new website: https://ethos-karratha.gymdesk.com/signup/v/AxXmr. We can assist at the club but it will make it a lot smoother to get everyone on the mat and doing what we love.
