We are very excited to announce that the Pilbara Regional Karate Championships for Karratha/Dampier/Wickham students are back again this year! 🎉

📍 Karratha Leisureplex (fitness room next to the cafe)

After the fantastic success of last year’s Championships, we are looking forward to another exciting day of karate, friendship and great competition!

The Championships are a wonderful opportunity for our students to demonstrate the skills they have been working so hard to develop, challenge themselves, gain competition experience and support their fellow karateka. 🥋💪

🔸 KIHON – Yellow belt students and below
🔸 KATA – All students
🔸 TEAM KATA – All students
🔸 KUMITE – Orange belt students and above

💰 Registration Fee: $20
🍴 Food will be provided

Whether this is your first competition or you have competed before, we encourage all eligible students to take part. It’s not just about winning medals — it’s about having the courage to step onto the floor, doing your best and showing true karate spirit. ❤️

Family and friends are also very welcome to come along, cheer on our competitors and enjoy the day with us!

🥋 KARATE GRADING SUCCESS! 🥋

Congratulations to all of our students who recently participated in our karate grading! We are incredibly proud of everyone's hard work, determination, and positive attitude.

Our white belt students were examined by Carl Sensei on 24 June, where they had the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have been developing since beginning their karate journey.

We were also honoured to welcome Andrew Carey Sensei (6th Dan) from Geraldton, who visited our club to share his knowledge and teach some excellent techniques during the weekend. Andrew Sensei then conducted the grading for our coloured belt students on 26 & 27 June.

A big congratulations to everyone who graded successfully👏🏻🏅 Your commitment and perseverance continue to make our club proud.

A special thank you to Andrew Carey Sensei for making the trip to Karratha and sharing his expertise with our students, and to Carl Sensei for his ongoing dedication and support.

Well done, everyone! Keep training hard, stay humble, and continue striving to improve.
