The South Hedland Cougars will be hosting a Rugby League Super Saturday Gala Day starting with our junior games with travelling players from our friendly neighbours Karratha Kangaroos, Paraburdoo Pirates & Broome Jets. As the sun goes down the night lights will shine to see the Cougars men team take on the Karratha Roosters. An action packed day you wont want to miss 🙌🏉

We are beyond excited to officially announce that rugby league legend Mal Meninga - Head Coach of the Perth Bears is coming to Karratha for Gala Day weekend! 🐻🏉🦘

Mal will be joining us across an action-packed weekend of regional rugby league, kicking things off at our Friday night Sportsman’s Dinner before attending the 2026 North West Junior Gala Day & Pilbara ANZAC Challenge on Saturday!
