What an incredible celebration of Kangaroo Flat FNC netball talent at the 2026 BFNL Awards!

We couldn’t be prouder of our girls who have been recognised among the league’s best after outstanding seasons.

RUBY BARKMEYER — Betty Thompson Medallist – A Grade Best & Fairest with an incredible 33 votes!

ELLA WICKS — Jenny Holborn Medallist – A Reserve Best & Fairest with 25 votes, going back-to-back!

MEGAN KELLY — B Reserve Best & Fairest with 19 votes!

SOPHIE INGRAM — B Reserve Runner-Up with 17 votes, making it a sensational 1–2 finish for the Roos!

PEYTON CHAMBERS — 17 & Under Runner-Up with 22 votes, an outstanding result and recognition of a huge season!

And a special congratulations to Ruby Barkmeyer, who was also recognised as the Open Netball Best Representative Player.

This is a fantastic reflection of the talent, dedication and hard work within our netball program. We are incredibly proud of every one of you!

A huge congratulations to ANGUS MACPHERSON on an outstanding result at the 2026 BFNL Awards, polling equal runner-up at 16 votes in the prestigious Michelsen Medal!

Angus’ consistency, hard work and impact across the season have been recognised at the highest level, finishing among the very best players in senior football.

What an incredible achievement and a fantastic reward for a player who has given so much to the Kangaroo Flat Football Club!

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our superstar RUBY BARKMEYER on being crowned the 2026 Betty Thompson Medallist as the BFNL A-Grade Netball Best & Fairest!

With an incredible 33 votes, Ruby has capped off an outstanding season and added another major individual honour to an already impressive career.

Ruby’s consistency, leadership, determination and ability to impact a game have been on full display all season — and tonight, she has been recognised as the BEST IN THE COMPETITION!
