Tonight wasn’t our night, with Jaspaa coming second best, but every challenge is another lesson and another step forward.

Jaspaa Stowers went out in a nail-biter. That’s boxing. The result didn’t go our way, but he performed well and gave everything until the final bell.

Nothing to hang our heads about. We’ll reassess, make the adjustments, and go again. On to the next. 👊

Jaspaa Stowers returns to the ring today and gets the win, but not without facing a fellow Queenslander and teammate.

A huge thank you to Judd for another quality contest. Nothing but respect for the sportsmanship he continues to show every time he steps through the ropes. A talented boxer, but a true gentleman of the sport.

Jaspaa now moves into the Quarterfinals tomorrow against NSW’s Liam Hassanein.

🕔 Starts: 5:00pm
⏰ Jaspaa is scheduled as the second last bout, so we’re expecting him in the ring around 7:30pm to 8:00pm.

🇦🇺 Australian Schools Championships

The draw is out.

Jaspaa’s first National bout is tomorrow in the 65-70kg Preliminary Round, taking on Judd Alderton (QLD).

He’s scheduled for Bout 15. Competition starts at 12:00pm (doors open 11:00am), with Jaspaa expected to be in the ring at approximately 2:30-3:00pm, depending on how quickly the earlier bouts move.

Preparation is done. Now it’s time to do what we’ve trained for.
