Hume Bombers Football Club supports the TAC’s ‘Be the Difference’ campaign, standing together to promote safer roads and protect our community.

Every decision behind the wheel matters, whether it’s planning a safe way home, looking out for your mates, or choosing not to drive after drinking. As a club, we are committed to raising awareness and being part of the change.

At our home games, we encourage everyone to be the designated driver. Through free or discounted non-alcoholic drinks and rewards for those helping their mates get home safely. We’re promoting positive choices both on and off the field.

It wasn’t the ending we were chasing.

Falling one game short in a Preliminary Final hurts, but it’s hard not to be proud of what this group achieved.

In just our second year of senior footy, we made a Preliminary Final and celebrated the club’s first ever finals win. That’s something nobody can take away from us.

A huge thank you to every player, volunteer, sponsor and supporter who backed us throughout the season. The foundations have been laid.

A special mention to Zach Gilbert, who unfortunately broke his collarbone during the Preliminary Final. Wishing you a speedy recovery, mate. Heart and soul. 💪

And a massive thank you to our first senior coach, Abbas Gulam. From the moment you stepped in, you gave everything to this club. Your leadership and tireless work behind the scenes have been invaluable, and we simply wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

The future is bright. We’ll continue to grow as a club and come back ready to attack next season and beyond.
