Olympic & The Wilding Project specialise in recreational gymnastics and parcour classes for kids. Olympic has been teaching people how to move since 1978!

We specialise in Gymnastics, Parkour, Free-Running and Natural Movement for children, young people and adults. We believe there is no reason why the movements we learn as children should not be available to us in our adult years so we made a place to deliver qualitymovement programs for all ages. We're more than just a gymnastics club!

All students improve at different rates, but typically it takes 1-3 terms to pass all skills to progress. So when the students feel they are ready to pass, then it's book your grading session.

'Team Futures' competition at BK's Gymnastics was a BLAST!

Hosted by Recreation Gymnastics Australia's (RGA) on Sun Aug 23rd our Advanced girls performed very well in front of family and friends.

We are so PROUD of you all.

With the guidance of their coaches, they overcome their nerves and tried their very best.

They were treated to medals on the dias at the end of the competition, followed by post event burgers!

Big thanks to the RGA team, Katrina and Bree for running the event and BK's for hosting.

Also Thankyou to Olympic's Team Futures co-ordinator Kirstie, and coaches Sohee, Leela and Jamisha for making it possible.

We look forward to bigger and better events in the future!

TEN PRACTICAL TIPS for PARENTS. Topic: eSafety for Kids.

Young kids are engaged on tech before we know it. They're swiping, clicking, sharing content and communicating with people. Here are the top 10 tips for parents for online safety.

1. BE RESPONSIBLE: As parents and carers, online safety begins with the caregiver.

2. BE SAFE: Help your child understand the connected world and how they can protect their personal information.

3. BE KIND: Show your child how tho be kind and respectful online and model good habits around device use and online sharing.

4. ASK FOR HELP: Teach your child to ask for help and let them know they can come to you with an issue.

5. MAKE GOOD CHOICES: Help your child to think critically about the content they watch and how they spend their time online.

6. HOW TO SET UP A SAFETY DEVICE WITH SAFETY IN MIND: Before young children begin to explore online, it is a good idea to activate safety features, filters and parental controls on the devices they use.

7. BE ACTIVELY ENGAGED: Engage in quality content with your child can be a positive experience for them and can promote learning and development.

8. BALANCE SCREEN TIME: You know your child. How much time should your child spend online?.

9. WHERE TO GO FOR GOOD CONTENT: Parents and Carers have an important role to play in shaping what their children watch and do online.

10. CREATE A FAMILY TECH AGREEMENT: Set a list of rules that is based on time and content which is agreed to by all family members.

By engaging with your child about online safety, you can lay a foundation for a safer online experience as they grow older.

That's a wrap. Gymnastics Clubs Australia NATIONAL CONGRESS. The conference was in Newcastle (NSW) July 26-28, 2026.

OLY/TWP is proudly affiliated with 'Gymnastic Clubs Australia'. (GCA), who is the Peak Industry Association for Gymnastics Clubs in Australia, and unite Clubs through education, advocacy and community.

Coach Kirstie, and myself (Dan) plus 100+ other delegates had the privilege to attend various seminars with incredible presenters. Many of who are leaders in the industry from the U.S.A

The delegates also visited various gyms around Sydney and were treated to tours of their facilities, and chatted to other gym owners and managers.

We were also treated to a fun round of hilarious and competitive golf! The 'ORANGE JACKET' held by our club from the 2025 tournament, was won by rival team and was graciously handed to the 2026 tournament winner.

As apart of the event schedule, we also attended the GCA national awards night. Congratulations to all award winners.

Bringing clubs together for the benefit of young Aussies is hugely important, and the team at GCA do an amazing job.

THANKYOU to the presenters, CEO Ross Gage, the GCA Team and its Partners for an incredible event.
