Congratulations to Trudy Edmonds, who competed in the Women’s Masters 5 National Time Trial Championships on the Sunshine Coast today, placing 4th in her age category — a fantastic achievement!

Next up is the Criterium on Saturday, followed by the Road Race on Sunday.

We’re looking forward to seeing more great results from our local cyclists over the coming days. Stay tuned!

🚴‍♀️ WHAT’S ON THE PROGRAM? 🏁

Interclub racing is coming to Lake Inverell on Saturday 10 October — and we’re keen to see plenty of riders from our neighbouring clubs joining us for the day!

We’ve got graded crit racing in the morning, with D Grade also on the cards subject to numbers, followed by the 40km Handicap in the afternoon.

🔹 C Grade – 10:00am
🔹 B Grade – 10:30am
🔹 A Grade – 11:00am
🔹 D Grade – details TBC, subject to numbers
🔥 40km Handicap – 1:00pm

We’d love to see a great mix of clubs represented, so tag your club mates, get a crew together and come race with us in Inverell!

🚴 Andrew Swan Memorial Race 🚴

A great afternoon of regional racing in Armidale, and most importantly, a special opportunity to remember Andrew “Swanny” Swan and his contribution to the Armidale and wider cycling community.

Inverell Cycle Club was well represented:

👏 Lachlan Butler crossed the line 6th overall, racing from Group 3.

👏 Peter Horwood put in a strong ride from the scratch group, averaging 39.1 km/h and recording the 4th-fastest adjusted time of the day.

👏 Daniel Wilks rounded out the Inverell contingent, racing from Group 5 and finishing 18th overall.

Congratulations to James Sykes (Tamworth Cycle Club) on the win, and well done to Armidale Cycling Club, the officials, volunteers and everyone who helped make such a special memorial race possible.
