For the gladiators of ancient Rome, there was a prize greater than victory in the arena — freedom.

A gladiator who earned his freedom would be presented with a rudis, a wooden sword that symbolised his release from the arena.

At Masters of the Mat, we're bringing those ideas together.

There are plenty of ways to get involved — from set-up, weigh-ins and scoring through to refereeing, marshalling, coaching, clean-up and general event support.

You don’t have to choose just one! You can help for multiple roles and help wherever you’re comfortable.
