Does this sound familiar?
I signed up at the beginning of the year. I went a handful of times, had the free PT session, then went once or twice after that...
Now I hardly go.
I walk into the gym and there are people confidently using all the weights and machines. I don't really know where to start.
So I jump on the treadmill or bike for 30 minutes... then head home.
No one checks in.
No one notices if I don't come back.
No one is there to keep me accountable.
The membership is cheap enough that I tell myself, "I'll go next week."
Then next week becomes next month.
The truth is, for many women it isn't that they don't want to exercise. They just haven't found somewhere they feel comfortable enough to keep showing up.

Strength training is one of the best ways to build muscle, support healthy bones, and make everyday activities feel easier.

Most clients I speak too, don’t want another challenge.
They don’t want the pressure to attend 4 to 5 times a week, to record what they are eating.
It is stressful enough in everyday life,
Getting to a class,
Getting the work done,
Keeping on top of the house work.
They want to exercise to feel better and help them relax. Not to add more onto their life.

This is your sign to stop putting yourself last.
You don't need to earn rest.
You don't need permission to take care of yourself.
And you don't have to wait until everything else is done.
Your wellbeing matters too.
Make a little time for you today. ♥️

Do you feel stressed after a day of work and need to wind down before getting home?
Our 4.45pm and 6 pm classes are a great way to clear your head and move your body after a full day at work.

The other day I was chatting with a lady who told me she just couldn't make time for exercise.
"The afternoons are impossible," she said.
"The kids have activities, I have to make dinner, help with homework... there's just no time."
So I asked her about her partner.
She replied, "Oh, he goes to the gym every night after work, so he's not home until after 6.30."
It made me stop and think...
Why do so many women automatically put themselves last? Me included.
Why do we accept that everyone else's time is important, but ours isn't?
I'm not saying partners shouldn't go to the gym. Of course they should.
But why can't we share the time?
Why do we feel guilty asking for 45 minutes to move our body, clear our head and do something that's good for us?

I completed the walk without being too sore.
With the strength training we did together it definitely helped me during the walk. My legs didn't get stiff and sore too much. I recovered easier than some of my friends.💜
