We want to congratulate Sophie Hays on her win at the Bowls WA Awards last night. The club continues to cheer her on in her endeavours in the sport and we look forward to seeing her around the Joondalup Bowling Club again in the future. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners as great ambassadors for this fabulous inclusive fun sport.

More winter sun should be out tomorrow morning. This means any under 18’s wanting to have a go at bowls and their family are welcome to join us from 10am for some bowls fun.

We’ll be on the green tomorrow morning enjoying some winter sun and each others company. Any under 18’s and local families are welcome to come and check out the fun.

What a spectacular morning for a very competitive Joondalup Bowling Club Under 18's Club Championship match.

The game was very tight. Sophie would win an end the Kian would get the next. Shot for shot, with bowls right on the jack or close at least. They drew the first set. The more of the same with a very fitting battle seeing a drawn second set too.

The one end tiebreaker was fought right to the end. Kian got the win and is our Champion for the 22/23 season.

We will have a presentation in the next few weeks.

To finish off our fabulous morning everyone was invited to have a bowl and win some cash. Both of our Under 18’s took the wins in this quick two end game. Thanks to all who came down to cheer and join in the mornings fun.

Our Under 18’s Club Championship game is on this morning at Joondalup Bowling Club. Cheer on our up and coming players with a like on this post, or by coming down to the club from 10am. 🏆

Our new program for terms 2 & 3 is starting tomorrow (April 29). Come and join the fun of lawn bowls each Saturday morning (weather permitting). Bring a family member to try it out with you.
