In 1926, Bert Standish started a family tradition that is still going strong today, and promises to for many years to come.
Bert discovered a passion and natural talent for bicycle riding that saw him win many events in competition racing throughout South Australia. He raced for twenty two years whilst also working for a bicycle company in Adelaide. In 1952 he opened the first Standish Cycles store at Unley, which is still there today.
