SUPERHERO ROUND 2026 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️❤️🖤

We were proud to host SUPERHERO ROUND for the Balmain District at Begnell Oval and what a day it was!

With clubs from across the district joining us, our home ground was absolutely buzzing with junior footy, superheroes and plenty of smiles.

Of course, the entire Balmain crew understood the assignment! 😂 A huge shoutout to all coaches, managers, trainers, committee members and volunteers who got dressed up and helped bring the day to life for the kids.

Behind every junior footy club are people who give their time, energy and heart week after week to make days like these possible.

They may not always wear capes… but they're definitely our superheroes ❤️🖤

We also had the awesome Josese Lanyon Josese from West Tigers come and hang with the kids, sign some boots, shirts, even crocs 😝 and chat about all things footy.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped us host such a fantastic day for Balmain District JRL.

Plenty of determination, effort and Raiders spirit across the weekend as we head into the final stretch of the 2026 season.

A big congratulations to our U16 Girls League Tag with a great 20–12 win, while our U15s battled out an 18–18 draw.

This week, the Strathfield Raiders proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Rugby league has been shaped by the incredible contributions of First Nations players, coaches, officials, volunteers and communities. Their talent, leadership and stories continue to inspire generations both on and off the field.

As a club, we are committed to fostering respect, inclusion and unity, while celebrating the rich cultural heritage that makes our game and our community stronger.
