As part of the Selfs Point Sewer Transformation project TasWater needs to remove several large trees along the Intercity Cycleway near McVilly Drive to make way for the new sewer pipeline.
π§ To complete this work safely and efficiently, the cycleway will be temporarily closed.
π Closure location: Between the Tasman Bridge and the Regatta Grounds car park.
π
Dates: Monday 16 to Friday 20 March.
β° Times: 9 am to 4 pm.
π΄ββοΈ The cycleway will be open outside these hours.
π Detours & Travel Advice
β’ Alternative routes are shown on the map.
β’ Allow extra travel time while using detours.
Bicycle Network Tasmania says cyclists riding to and from the north can detour from Bay Street via Letitia and Argyle/Campbell streets, but itβs more difficult for people coming over the Tasman Bridge β especially as the ferry doesnβt run during the day.
β οΈ Please note: Dates and times are subject to weather and ground conditions and may be adjusted if required.
