📣 BATTING COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

After years of excelling with the bat for the Knights, Dylan Hay will continue to pass on his experience as one of our Batting Coaches. A respected captain and leader within our playing group, he has earned the trust of teammates through his performances, professionalism and commitment to the club.

His calm approach, tactical knowledge and willingness to mentor others make him an outstanding resource for our batters as they continue to develop their games.

Dyl, we’re excited to have your leadership shaping another season at the crease!

📣 MEN’S BATTING COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Opportunities to learn from someone who has performed on the international stage don’t come around often and we’re fortunate to have exactly that at the Knights.

Tawanda Muparawa returns as one of our Batting Coaches, bringing a remarkable playing background together with years of coaching experience. His knowledge of batting, preparation and the mental side of the game provides invaluable guidance for players across our club.

Whether working with experienced First Graders or helping emerging talent take the next step, Tawanda continues to share his expertise with generosity and passion.

📣 MEN’S FIELDING COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We’re delighted to have Eric Monaghan return as our Fielding Coach for another season. His enthusiasm is infectious, his standards never waver and his commitment to the Knights is evident every time he steps onto the training ground.

Eric’s passion for helping every player improve, positivity and an unwavering willingness to give back to the club, make him an invaluable member of our coaching team.

We’re lucky to have you, Eric! Bring on another season of effort and excellence in the field.

📣 MALE PROGRAM HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We’re thrilled that Thomas Martyn will once again lead the Knights as Head Coach this season.

Since taking charge ahead of the 2023/24 season, Tom has overseen one of the most successful periods in our club’s recent history. Premierships, high standards and a culture built on hard work have become the benchmark under his leadership.

A long-serving First Grade player, he understands exactly what it means to wear the black and gold. His passion for the club, ability to unite a playing group and drive for continuous improvement make him the ideal person to lead our men’s program into another exciting season.

Congratulations, Tom. Here’s to another amazing season!

The Kingborough District Cricket Club would like to congratulate Kingborough Lions United Football Club on reaching the Australia Cup Round of 32.

It’s an incredible achievement and a proud moment for sport in our community. The match is arguably the biggest sporting event ever held at the Twin Ovals precinct and a fantastic opportunity to showcase Kingborough on the national stage.

As fellow tenants of the Twin Ovals, we’re proud to see our neighbours representing our community. We will all be watching as Lions tomorrow, go United! 🦁💙💛⚽
