AFTER 18 GAMES… THE WAIT IS OVER! ❤️💙

A HUGE congratulations to our Senior Women, who have kicked their FIRST GOAL OF THE SEASON! 🥹🙌

After scoring just one point across the opening 18 games, today our girls found the big sticks — and what a way to finish the season! 🎉

A massive shoutout to Jemma Clark from Dodges Ferry Football Club, who was an absolute superstar filling in for the Robins today. Jemma slotted the historic goal and etched her name into Brighton history! ⭐️

But the celebrations don’t stop there… our girls also held Glenorchy to their lowest score against us all season! 👏

What a way to finish the year — fighting until the very end, finding that elusive goal and finishing the season on an absolute high! ❤️💙

Congratulations girls. You’ve earned this one! 🥹👏

Last weekend, Ashton Quarrell played his 50th Senior Club game in the red and blue 💪🏼

A Brighton junior, Ashton returned to the Robins in 2023, pulling on the red and blue in our U16.5s and helping the side make it all the way to the Elimination Final.

In 2024, he stepped into the Senior Club with our Colts, playing a key role in a side that reached the Preliminary Final.

This season, Quazz has become a consistent pillar of our Reserves side — turning up every week, competing hard, doing the tough work and never taking a backward step. His reliability, work rate and willingness to battle for his teammates have made him an important part of the group.

Now at 50 games, Ashton is building his own chapter in the red and blue, and we can’t wait to see plenty more of it.

From following his older brother Josh around the club as his shadow, to becoming a key figure in our senior side — Riley Davie is a true Robin.

Riley has been with Brighton since the U9s in 2016, becoming a multiple junior premiership player, representing Southern Rep Teams and progressing through the U16 Devils program.

At just 16, Riley got his first taste of the senior club in 2023 before making his Senior debut in 2024 and cementing his place in the side.

His talent was recognised with the 2024 Rising Star Award, before taking home the 2025 Best Under 21 Award and finishing inside the Top 10 of the Senior Best & Fairest.

Now, 50 games later, Riley has become a key and consistent part of our senior team — and we can’t wait to see what the next 50 bring.

Vale John “Charlie” Zielinski

Brighton Football Club extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of John “Charlie” Zielinski.

Charlie was a proud Robin and a member of our premiership-winning teams in 1971 and 1972, leaving his mark on the club and its history.

Our thoughts are with Lynette, Andrew, Brian and the Zielinski family during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Charlie. Forever a Robin. ❤️💙
