Chelsea has improved her kicking skills so much since I first met her, her dad Cam and brother James.

Hi all,
An announcement from me.
After a fair bit of consideration, a few months ago I decided to apply for this position.
I was fortunate enough to win the position and while this is exciting, it will unfortunately mean I have to give up TAS AFL Coaching for the foreseeable future.
Where to start…
It’s hard to put into words how much I have enjoyed private coaching.
To the young people that I have worked with who have reminded me of why I fell in love with this game, thankyou.
To the parents I have met through the journey that just want to see their kids happy and doing something positive, thankyou.
To the clubs and schools that have seen value in what I do, thankyou.
I will be back doing this at some point but what I always say and will continue to say is that players are the biggest drivers of their own careers. You don’t need anyone but yourself.
I have to the 17th of November to wrap up any of my coaching on here. So if you have a session booked or were thinking of one, that’s the date.

Backpage of the Mercury: Matilda Lange
(potentially the best female footballer we have produced in my opinion)
What I notice about her kicking action.
Balance arm up and saying “hi” which keeps her upright and moving forward.
Guide arm long and straight down which allows her to drop the ball below her waist.
Grip has thumb above laces with 2 fingers on the top of the ball to promote hand control.
This is exactly how I teach kicking. I teach it this way as the best kicks look like this.
