Berlin gave us one of the strongest demonstrations yet of just how elevated adidas Adizero racing technology is right now, with the Adios Pro Evo 3 leading the way.

All three men and all three women on the podium crossed the line in the Evo 3, including wins from Guye Adola in 2:02:50 and Tigst Assefa in a 2:11:04 course record.

Plenty of supershoes are proving fast at the highest level, but seeing the same shoe cover every podium position across both races is a serious statement.

Runs of Adelaide #14 - Breakout Creek Wetlands

One of Adelaide’s newest spots to explore on the run, Breakout Creek Wetlands brings a different feel to the western end of the River Torrens Linear Park.

Starting on Linear Park around the River Torrens, build a roughly 5km route through a mix of paved paths and trails, winding alongside the wetlands, river and newly restored natural areas. It’s an easy route to adapt for daily training, recovery runs or as part of a longer run along the River. The recent redevelopment has transformed this stretch of Breakout Creek / Purruna Pari and Apex Park with new wetlands, native vegetation, habitat areas and river crossings, creating plenty to look out for as you run.

Finish up with a coffee at Beach Break Cafe.

Running at Yurrebilla this weekend?

We will be under the RunDNA tent with a Brooks wear test kit, including the Ghost Trail and Cascadia 20 👟

We’ll be there from 10am so if you’re participating in the 14km event, you’re welcome to borrow a pair for your run before jumping on the bus. Alternatively visit us after your run to try a pair on or to talk all things trail shoes.

One lucky runner will also win a pair of the Cascadia 20’s!!

One last shakeout before Adelaide’s most iconic race of the year🏃

A huge thanks to everyone who came down and joined us for our City-Bay shakeout. Good people, good kilometres and plenty of pre-race excitement.
Big thanks to the ASICS team for bringing along some wear test shoes to try, Sodii for keeping us hydrated and Deja Brew Specialty Coffee for keeping the coffee flowing post-run ☕️

Then it was off to the expo to soak up the City-Bay atmosphere.

Good luck to everyone running, walking or rolling tomorrow - enjoy every part of it and we hope to see many familiar faces out there!

Sole Purpose brings together RunDNA, Hutt St Centre and local artists to transform sneakers into works of art, all in support of people experiencing homelessness in our community.

An estimated 7,400 people are experiencing homelessness across South Australia. Behind that number are individuals, families and stories, each deserving of support and a pathway towards a more secure future.
