Whether you’re a regular volunteer or giving it a go for the first time, we’d love to have you! Volunteering is a great way to be part of the parkrun community, and you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the morning.

Hey parkrunners, while several of our regulars will be trail running in the hills this weekend, and even at Sydney marathon, we are looking for kind volunteers willing to take on the two crucial rolls of Timekeeper and Barcode Scanner.

This week 46 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 3 were first timers and 8 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part.

Shipwreck parkrun started on 25th August 2018. Since then 3,018 participants have completed 15,884 parkruns covering a total distance of 79,420 km, including 2,491 new Personal Bests. A total of 364 individuals have volunteered 2,838 times.

Come celebrate with us! It's been 8 years since Shipwreck parkrun first kicked off, and we want as many of you as possible to be there for the milestone.

Same great 5k, same great community — and this week you might even get a sweet reward, so stick around for a chat and a bite once you've crossed the finish line.
