Hello Dance Family and Friends # # #

It has now been a year since the Stars Gather Showcase 2024 and the closure of Explosive Dance, so we wanted to acknowledge all who have made this community.

We still think about you all every day and get 'homesick' for the studio space and the people that filled it.

While over the years we often reflected on what an honour it was to teach and connect with so many, stepping back has really highlighted how fortunate we were to do what we love for so long.

We never truly expected a year to go by without returning, but the treatment and healing journey for Fran is still ongoing (with perhaps been the most challenging time, in recent weeks), so that original few months has become a longer process.

Life will always evolve, sometimes we are ready for it sometimes not, but those precious memories and moments made with you will never leave us.

But quickly, a big shout out to Queenie!

It takes some big energy to get on stage, and you were wonderful 💕 but we also know that big energy is pretty tricky for you right now.

What a team!

When Fran did a call out for volunteers for Telethon, these legends from our dance fam so wonderfully jumped in!

Along with so many others who gave time and supported Telethon once again.

A little rehearsal today for an upcoming performance opportunity we have been able to extend to some of our dancers.

Whilst we may be closed as a studio at this time, we adore these moments to return and hope to be able to share more of them across our Explosive Dance community as time goes on.

Explosive Dance and Theatre Co is taking a little break.
(First break in 26 years!).

After having had the VERY BEST time presenting our Mid-Year Showcase 'STARS GATHER', the team must take care of some other important life stuff for a short while.

During this time, we will not be running our usual weekly classes, however, do not be surprised if you see us share some events, short courses, and performance opportunities along the way.
(We will miss you all too much not to!).

To our current studio community, we thank you so much for all the support that has been shown in response to the detailed announcement we shared direct last week. A true reflection of the amazing students and families we are so blessed to share our time with.

No matter your journey for the next little while, we hope it is wonderful. And we cannot wait to re-connect soon.
