Next week is Father’s Day Week for gymnastics and parkour classes!

DATES: Monday 31st August – Sunday 6th September

Rec Gym, Parkour & Gymstar Classes:
For the last 15 minutes of classes parents/guardians will be invited to come down and join in.

Kinder Gym:
Parents/guardians join in for the entire class (including the 4yo groups). Special partnered activities are planned for this week!

To ensure safety in the gym, please no running or touching of equipment without permission from the coaches. Siblings are also welcome if they are fully supervised.

This week is Pyjama Week!

Gymnastics & Parkour students are invited to attend wearing PJs Monday 27th July – Sunday 2nd August. Please ensure outfits are still suitable for activity (e.g. no nighties, oodies, or anything that may impede movement.)

Highett is lighting up this winter ✨ For the very first time, Neon Nights is coming to Highett Village - bringing colour, creativity and glowing installations to our neighbourhood, thanks to Bayside City Council.

Between 4.30pm – 8pm on Sat, Aug 8, the precinct will come alive with vibrant hues, interactive displays and playful neon moments - plus a Dog Treat Trail to match this year’s Neon Dog Park theme. Bring your pup along and stop in at participating businesses for a free treat as you wander!

Right across the village, traders will also be serving up special prices, fun deals and affordable treats - everything from discount kids cones with free glow sticks and Dog Yog tubs, to Greek BBQ tastings, DJs, mulled wine, ski lodge pop ups, $10 hero menus, Filipino combo meals, warming soups and hot chocs, and $1 prosecco tastings. It’s the perfect night to explore, snack, sip and enjoy the glow.

The event is completely free, runs from 4.30pm – 8pm, and you don’t need to book - just stroll through, explore and enjoy the neon magic. The earlier start time makes it perfect for families and little ones who love bright colours before bedtime.

HYC supporter scarves and drink bottles are available right now at the Highett admin office. Kindergym Tees will be available mid July. Other items are expected to arrive in August.

Term 3 enrolments have now opened. Trial gymnastics, parkour, cheer, or calisthenics starting 13th July!

Enjoy wonderful performances by our Calisthenics & Calidance teams and soloists.

For children 6 and under, you can book seats online for free. Kids 7 yrs+ interested in Calisthenics or Calidance can get a free complimentary ticket to watch and learn about the sport. To reserve a complimentary ticket for your child, please contact the office.
