A big hot day today. 2 Ranges 700m followed by the 900m.
Conditions were challenging to say the least. However, still some good scores.

Smallbore enjoyed a nice quiet morning, even though the wind continues to give us trouble at the moment. Congratulations to our top 5 today: Amy (473.04), Logan (460.03), Brian (458.03), Rob (457.05) and Cathy (454.03).

While we wait for the new RBA targets to come in, we will be shooting score again next week.

Hi All, Good evening members and visitors of/to TMRC
Our Shooting Captain, Bob Hawkins would like us all to remember the importance of adhering to the regulations in respect to Safe Storage of our weapons in or on vehicles, especially whilst leaving your vehicle unattended at the clubhouse or the mound.
From the QPS weapons licencing website:
Storage in or on vehicles
As a general rule, you should not store any weapons in a vehicle. Loose fi****ms in a vehicle are a prime target for thieves.
In some situations, you may need to store a weapon in a vehicle, in these circumstances ensure that:
1. If the vehicle has a lockable boot, the weapon is locked in the boot; otherwise:
(a) the weapon is locked in a metal container fixed to the vehicle; or
(b) the weapon is in a securely closed container that is out of sight in the vehicle.
2. The metal container and anything on or attached to it, must not suggest that a weapon is inside.
3. A person in control of a weapon (whether or not the person has custody of it) must ensure the weapon is not left in an unlocked vehicle if the vehicle is not being attended by someone licensed to possess the weapon. Queensland Police

Great day on the Range.

Smallbore enjoyed some RBA on Saturday, however conditions were quite difficult with some unpredictable winds. Well done to our top five of the day: Dave D (710.20), Dave A (696.10), Kent (692.17), Amy (670.14) and Bob (654.10).

For the previous week, our top five were: Michael (480.7), Brian (456.3), Bob (454.2), Darcy (450.2) and Temple (450). Great work all.
