🎣 What a cracker of a night! 🎣

Last night’s Hervey Bay Game Fishing Club Rigging Night was an absolute success, with new faces and juniors all keen to learn and improve their game fishing skills.

The workshop was packed with practical, hands-on demonstrations covering:
🔹 Stiff rigging skirted lures
🔹 Rigging light tackle lures
🔹 Working with line
🔹 Tying the FG Knot
🔹 Plaiting doubles
🔹 And most importantly Understanding GFAA line, leader and double length requirements to make sure your tackle is ready for tournament and record fishing.

There were plenty of great questions, heaps of knowledge shared, and it’s always awesome to see experienced anglers passing on their tips and tricks to the next generation of game fishers.

A huge shout-out goes to Fisho's Tackle World Hervey Bay Bay for their continued support of our club. Thanks to their generosity, every junior went home with their very own professionally rigged lure, OR 2, giving them the confidence to get out on the water and put their new skills into practice. We can’t thank you enough for getting behind our junior anglers!

Don’t forget monthly meeting tonight from 6 pm. We will be doing little demonstrations on stiff rigging lures Snelling hooks, FG knots and doubles.

Thanks to the Hervey Bay game Fishing Club and Dane Tackle world we will be allowing the small fries and juniors to take home their newly rigged Lures.
