We’re riding a wave of gratitude today!
A huge thank you to Evolve Constructions for their generous donation, which has allowed us to purchase new tyres for our boat trailer!
Your support means so much more than just dollars. It helps us keep our equipment reliable, safe and ready to go, so our volunteers can continue doing what they love, supporting our community and helping keep beachgoers safe in the bay.

PATROL SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!
Today, our Director of Lifesaving, James, officially raised the red and yellow flags, marking the start of another season of patrols at Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club!

Our dedicated volunteer lifesavers will be patrolling out the front of the Hervey Bay Surf Club in Torquay every:
🔴🟡 Saturday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
🔴🟡 Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
🔴🟡 Public Holidays: From 8:00am

Our patrol teams give up their weekends and spare time to help keep our beachgoers safe, and we’re incredibly grateful for the commitment of every one of our volunteers.
And as we head into another season, remember to swim between the red and yellow flags and always listen to the advice of our lifesavers.

It’s not too late to join us! Whether you’re interested in becoming a lifesaver and helping on patrol, supporting our members and getting involved behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone at Hervey Bay Surf Club.

Last Saturday we officially opened our season with the Hervey Bay Masters Carnival, and what a cracker of a day it was!
With the weather putting on a show, 110 competitors aged from 30 to 70+ hit the sand and water and proved that age is definitely just a number!
They battled it out on our bayside sand in beach sprints and flags, before hitting the water for surf, board and ski races. And when the teams events rolled around, the smiles, laughs and competitive spirit really came out to shine.

A huge congratulations to Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club on taking out the Overall Winning Club.
But we couldn't be prouder of us, Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club, keeping at home the Most Improved Club trophy!
