🔴⚫️IT’S OFFICIAL… THE 2026 WIDE BAY AFL GRAND FINAL IS COMING TO HERVEY BAY! 🔴⚫️

The Hervey Bay Bombers are beyond excited to announce that we have been awarded the honour of hosting the 2026 Wide Bay AFL Grand Final!

Every Grand Final will be played on the one day Saturday, 5th September 2026 @ Norm McLean Oval.

This year’s hosting rights were put out to tender, with clubs submitting proposals to host the biggest day on the Wide Bay AFL calendar. We’re incredibly proud that the Bombers were chosen to bring the Grand Final home!

Now we need our Bombers family behind us!
A volunteer sign-up link will be posted soon, and we’d love everyone who can lend a hand to get involved. It takes an incredible team to deliver an event of this size, and together we’ll make it a day to remember.

The Hervey Bay Bombers have a massive day coming up Saturday 5th September, and we’re looking for vendors and food trucks to be part of the action!

From hot food and coffee to ice cream, sweet treats, face painting, and more we want to hear from you.

This will be an all-day event, with the first game kicking off at 8:00am and the final game starting around 6:00pm. With plenty of people expected through the gates throughout the day, it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to the local community.
