What a great few days on the Sunshine Coast at the Wide Bay Short Course Championships for our Hervey Bay Swimming Club team, some great results including:

⭐ Jack -🥇50m Breaststroke, 🥈50m Back and 50m Free, 🥉50m Fly, with three PBs.

⭐ Brayden – 🥇200m IM and 50m Fly, 🥈100m IM and 50m Free, 🥉100m Breast and 100m Free, along with five PBs.

⭐ Pandora – Five PBs across the meet in the 400m Free, 100m IM, 50m Back, 50m Free and 200m Free.

⭐ Evie – Three PBs, including taking more than four seconds off her 50m Free.

⭐ Harrison – A strong swim in the 50m Back to finish 6th.

⭐ Rori – A new PB in the 100m Free and some great racing experience across her events.

A huge thank you to Coach Mick and Coach Hayden for their guidance and good spirits over the weekend, and to our amazing families for timekeeping, cheering from poolside and helping make it such a fun and enjoyable few days away.

💙💛 What a weekend in Bundaberg! Our team of 15 swimmers put together an incredible meet, finishing with:

🏅 37 Medals
🥇 17 Gold
🥈 10 Silver
🥉 10 Bronze
⭐ 47 Personal Bests

Beyond the medals, PBs, age champions and multiple Wide Bay and State qualification times, we saw young athletes with determination and fantastic team spirit all weekend long.

And thanks again to Coach Mick for his support and encouragement, and to our amazing families for all their timekeeping efforts and cheering on every swimmer every step of the way.

Day one done at the Bundaberg Short Course Meet!

Well done to our team of 15 swimmers, all giving it their absolute best, supporting one another and achieving some great results along the way, lots of PBs and medals!!!

Our kids gave it everything, with such determination and showed lots of team spirit. A huge thank you to Coach Mick for offering endless encouragement and support to our swimmers.
