Tonight I had the pleasure of presenting Sempai Josh Bosse with his Shodan certificate. Kyokushin gradings are a real test both physically and mentally, and Sempai Josh excelled alongside the best. Most of his 40 rounds of kumite were with Dan grades.

Another blast from the past. Here is Sensei Kevin Veivers with Sensei Grant Radonich and Sensei John Klose. Sensei Grant competed for Australia in the first world championships in Japan and Sensei John is still the only person to compete in the Australian titles across three weight divisions. In order, heavyweight, lightweight and middle weight. Sensei John was also on the Australian executive committee for many years.

Bit of a blast from last years Mackay weekend with Hanshi Trevor. Back there again this year for more fun in November.
