💚Giving Our Old Uniforms a New Life 💚🏐🌏

HUNC is incredibly proud to share that our club has recently changed to a new uniform — and rather than letting our old uniforms go to waste, we’ve found a wonderful new purpose for them! 🫶

Our old uniforms have been donated to Play It Forward Vic, a wonderful community service project developed by high school students, that collects preloved and obsolete sports uniforms and sends them to under-resourced communities in Australia and overseas.

We were able to donate:
🏐 150 netball skirts
🏐 150 netball tops
🏐 15 pairs of shorts

That’s 315 pieces of sportswear that will now have the opportunity to be used by approximately five schools in Samoa.

Play It Forward's goal is an incredible one — to help equip all 200 schools in Samoa with sports uniforms and give more young people the opportunity to participate in sport feeling proud, included and part of a team.

We love knowing that uniforms that have been such a big part of our club will now get a second life and help young players on the other side of the world. 🌏🏐

A huge thank you to everyone in our club who donated their uniform and helped collect, sort and pack these uniforms. What may no longer be needed by us can make a real difference to someone else.

It's time to step up our game. Sweep the Courts to keep our indoor courts clean and in top shape.
🔹 Responsibility: The home team is tasked with sweeping the courts before their game. However, ANY team can lend a hand. Let's show some sportsmanship and teamwork.
🔹 Tools: We've got you covered. There are TWO brooms per court. Grab one and let's make those floors shine.
🔹 Timing: Sweep the courts before the game. Need a quick sweep between games or at halftime? Absolutely. Let's keep the momentum going with a clean playing surface.
Remember, a clean court sets the stage. Let's make it happen, together 🙌
