More well deserved love for our George.

Congratulations to our very own Phillip “George” Greentree OAM, who has been recognised in this year's King's Birthday Honours List with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his outstanding service to the community.

This honour is a fitting recognition of the countless hours, dedication and support George has selflessly given to so many people over the years.

While his contributions through cricket administration and coaching, the Rural Fire Service, Freemans Reach Public School and numerous other volunteer roles were rightly acknowledged, there are many acts of kindness that don't appear on an honours citation.

The early-morning lifts home after premiership celebrations, the phone calls and welfare checks, the willingness to lend a hand whenever needed, and simply being there for family, friends and members of the community are all part of what makes George so special.

George has made a lasting impact on countless lives, often without seeking recognition or reward. This award reflects not only his service, but also the character, generosity and community spirit he has demonstrated throughout his life.

We are incredibly proud to see George receive this thoroughly deserved honour and congratulate him on this wonderful achievement.

Well thats a wrap on the 2025/26 season 🏏

Thank you to all who came to help us recognise the achievements of the season. There were many laughs, reflections on what was and would could have been and so many smiling faces with their trophies with some leaving with their arms full!

A special mention and thanks to our special guests who helped in presenting our Perpetual Trophies.

And most importantly, a heartfelt thanks to our Committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our club runs smoothly and for putting on a fantastic night for our players.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field next season!
