STRAPS FLOW WORKSHOP ✨

We’re excited to welcome .c back to City Cirque this June for his first solo workshop with us.

With over 25 years of circus training and international performance experience, Spencer has performed around the world with credits including Cirque du Soleil, Blanc de Blanc Encore, Germany’s GOP Varieté, Switzerland’s Circus Knie and most recently the title role of Gatsby in the sold-out Sydney Opera House production of Gatsby at the Green Light. Many of you will also know Spencer as one half of internationally acclaimed duo aerial act Duo Hoop.

In this Straps Flow Workshop, Spencer will share techniques for finding greater musicality, creativity and movement quality in straps. Students will explore ways to use spin to their advantage while learning a dynamic sequence adaptable to a range of skill levels.

DUO HOOP WORKSHOP ✨

We are so excited to welcome .hoop back to City Cirque this June.

Caitlin and Spencer have been performing together for almost a decade as Duo Hoop, with performances around the world including Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia, Blanc de Blanc Encore and Gatsby at the Sydney Opera House. Their iconic style and innovative aerial techniques have earned them international acclaim and awards across the USA, Switzerland, China, Italy and France.

In this signature workshop, Caitlin & Spencer will share foundational aerial hoop drills, partner basing and flying techniques, and some of their favourite duo flows.

We’re so excited to officially welcome .tm to the City Cirque teaching team 🤍

Caitlin is an internationally experienced aerial artist, coach and choreographer with over 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience across aerial, dance and contortion.

Her career has included work with some of the world’s most prestigious production houses including Cirque du Soleil, Blanc de Blanc Encore and most recently Gatsby at the Sydney Opera House, including her signature aerial creation Multiloops and aerial hoop duo work with Spencer Craig as .hoop ✨

Alongside performing, Caitlin has served as faculty for professional circus schools internationally, resident aerial choreographer and judge for Bend the Air Australia. Her background in Pilates and Gyrotonic studies brings a uniquely thoughtful and well-rounded approach to aerial training, artistry and skill progression.
