Today, we honor and celebrate the strong, dedicated fathers and father figures who lead, protect, and inspire their families every single day.

In Rhee Tae Kwon Do, Father’s Day holds a deeply profound meaning. We proudly remember our founder, World Master Chong Chul Rhee, reverently known as the Father of Australian Taekwondo. Beyond introducing traditional martial arts to Australia in 1970, Master Rhee served as a father figure, mentor, and guide to generations of Rhee Tae Kwon Do students across the nation. His leadership, wisdom, and uncompromising standards laid the foundation for the family we are today.

To all the fathers in our dojangs: thank you for leading by example, supporting your children's martial arts journeys, and instilling the values of respect, discipline, and perseverance at home.
