We are beyond proud of our 9 talented students who competed in the prestigious Ballet Teachers Workshop Finals yesterday.

With more than 500 entrants from 50 schools across Victoria and interstate, being recognised among the Top 20 dancers in their sections is an incredible achievement.

CELEBRATING FELICITY

We are incredibly proud of our Half Day Classical Extension Program student, Felicity, and all that she has accomplished through her dedication, passion, and love for ballet.

Felicity recently had the incredible opportunity to be part of the very first World Ballet Crown 2026 in Sydney, an experience filled with inspiring teachers, talented dancers, new friendships, and wonderful opportunities to learn and grow.

A very special congratulations to Felicity on receiving a partial scholarship to attend the 6-week Oklahoma Ballet Summer Intensive, such a wonderful recognition of her hard work and potential.

We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to Miss Kayla and Miss Justine for the impeccable classical training they provide Felicity throughout the year. Their commitment to developing strong technique, artistry, discipline, and confidence has played such an important role in her journey.

A very special thank you to Miss Kayla for her dedicated private coaching and the incredible attention to detail she gave Felicity in preparing her for this competition. The countless corrections, preparation, guidance, and encouragement truly helped Felicity step onto the stage with confidence and pride.

Felicity, we are so proud of the dancer you are becoming and the beautiful way you continue to embrace every opportunity to learn. Keep believing in yourself, keep working hard, and keep dancing with your whole heart.

A BIG IDS SHOUTOUT TO DANCE DAD DAVE!

Our IDS community is filled with so many wonderful and generous parents who help us all year round with costumes, props and everything in between.

As we wrap up our 2026 class photos, we couldn’t have done it without our very own Dance Dad Dave!

For those who know Dave, they know he’s a true “can-do” kind of guy and is always willing to lend a helping hand. From building, fixing and moving things to simply jumping in wherever he’s needed, Dave is always there to help make things happen.

From all of our students and teachers, we want to say an extra special THANK YOU this week to Dance Dad Dave for helping us with the photo backdrops and making our 2026 class photos possible.

AN INCREDIBLE CINDERELLA SUNDAY

Our third Cinderella Sunday rehearsal was nothing short of AMAZING!

We are bursting with pride for our incredible students and the dedication, determination, and commitment they bring to every single rehearsal. Watching each dancer strive to better themselves, challenge themselves, and grow with every session is truly inspiring.

And can you believe it?! 99% of our choreography has been completed in just FIVE WEEKS!

That is a record indeed!
Bravo, dancers! Your hard work is shining through, and we couldn’t be more proud of every single one of you.

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to our beloved Miss Kayla for her incredible passion, patience, creativity, and dedication. We are so grateful for everything you pour into our dancers and this production.

The magic of Cinderella is truly coming to life, and we cannot wait to see where the final weeks take us!
