🚨 Captain announcement 🚨

For the 2026/27 season Lachlan Ferguson has been elected to lead the A grade side.

Lachlan regains captaincy after leading the A grade into finals last year.

Lachlan had an outstanding season with bat and ball last year and really led from the front.

Lachlan was named icc sharks player of the year for the 2025/26 season and also won the section 2 medal for best player in the association.

Lachlan is widely regarded and a very relaxed and professional character who likes to make everyone feel comfortable.

The club was very impressed with how he went about captaincy last year and along with the A grade side are very happy to see him return this year.

The sharks are looking to make it one step further this year and hopefully Lachlan can take this talented A grade side to the promise land.

🚨 Captain announcement 🚨

For the 2026/27 season Russell Trembath has been elected to lead the B grade side into battle.

Russell Trembath or also known by most as “Rusty” has been a long severing member of the icc sharks and gained life membership last year.

He is widely regarded around the club as a fantastic leader and the club is super happy to appoint him as B grade captain for the coming year!

🏆 ICC SHARKS – AWARDS NIGHT SUCCESS 🏆

Congratulations to Lachy Ferguson on taking out the prestigious Zadow Medal at the 2026 ASCA Awards Night!

An outstanding first season as captain, leading from the front with a brilliant all-round year — runs with the bat, impact with the ball, sharp work in the field, and reliability behind the stumps. A thoroughly deserved honour.

Also a huge congratulations to Neil Hodgson on winning the Association Keeping Trophy for Section 7 — a testament to his consistency and skill behind the wickets.

Our Section 7 team was also recognised with the Spirit of Cricket Award, highlighting the club’s commitment to sportsmanship, respect, and fair play.

Lachy also proudly accepted, on behalf of the team, our official Premiership Certificate for winning the Div 2 T20 Grand Final — a great moment to cap off an incredible season. 🏆

What a fantastic night at our 2025/26 Presentations/Quiz Night.

It was great to see so many players, partners, friends, and family all here to celebrate the year that was and have a bit of fun along the way.

Thank you to our sponsors who have supported us throughout the year, Des's Morphett Vale Butcher, and Bakers Delight, and a special thank you to Nat Cook MP and her team for coming along and supporting our club and for sponsoring our Team of the Year and Captain’s Awards.

Congratulations to all the players who received individual accolades this year, especially to Lachy Ferguson for winning Cricketer of the Year, and to Russell Trembath for becoming a Life Member of the ICC Sharks.

Thank you to all those who helped with the organising and running of the night and to everyone who came along.

Sharks Presos are coming up soon. This time it’ll also be a quiz night so bring your partners, kids, family, friends.

We’ll have tables up to 10ppl so if you wanna get a cre together just let the players know or send us a message via the sharks page on Facebook.

Plenty of awards, prizes and fun to be had so let’s celebrate what’s been a great season for the club.
