Ladies, this one’s for you! 🖤
We’re running a 6 week beginners boxing program, women only, starting Tuesday 11 August.
No experience needed. No fitness level required. Whether you want to learn a new skill, build confidence, pick up some self-defence, or just try something different! You’ll learn to actually box, from the ground up, in a room where everyone’s starting together.
Two sessions to chose from:
Tuesday 6–7pm — busier, with the fighters training around us. Good if you like a bit of atmosphere.
Thursday 9–10am — nice and quiet, just our group.
Same content each week, so you only need to come once (or do both if you’re keen).
đź’µ $70 for the 6 weeks (one day a week) or $110 for both days
Hand wraps included & gloves can be borrowed, just bring yourself
Comment below or DM to get your spot. Bring a friend đź–¤

Nationals.
This week Blake competed at the Australian Titles, and while he didn’t get the result he went for, his commitment and consistency make him a champion in our eyes and to everyone back home.
Making Nationals in your first two years of boxing is impressive, mate. Your time will come.
Proud of you Blake👊

The gym will be closed from tomorrow Tue 7 – Fri 10 July while we’re away at Nationals with Blake. Fighters only in the meantime, back to normal Monday 13th.

New Financial Year. New PT Rates.
From today, our Personal Training prices have been updated.
Like every business, rising operating costs mean we occasionally need to review our pricing to continue delivering the level of coaching and service we’re proud of.
Whether you’re just starting out, chasing fitness goals, or preparing for your next fight, you’ll still receive the same experienced coaching, individual attention, and commitment that Savage is known for!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our gym. We appreciate every one of you! đź–¤

Tomorrow!
Some of the toughest blokes around find throwing a punch easier than admitting they're not OK. Glen Tierney's flipping that this Saturday.
Punch for a Pal is on at Savage Boxing Gym, raising awareness around teenage mental health and su***de prevention alongside the Grab Life by the Balls movement.
It's a free morning for the kids, BBQ included, with a talk from Steve McCosker on pushing through when life gets tough.
Stick around after for the Mateship Lunch at Charlie's Hotel, where Sam Parker, the bloke behind Grab Life by the Balls, talks about why mateship and honest conversations save lives.
There's even a free bus across to the Gympie Devils game after that.
We're proud to be Gold Sponsor for this one. 🌟
Mental health and wellbeing matters to us, so when Glen asked us to back it, there was only one answer.
âś… Free for the kids.
âś… Open to everyone.
âś… All it takes is rocking up, sharing this post, or donating a few bucks if you can't make it on the day.
To donate, or to book for the lunch, go to https://grablifebytheballs.wavecrm.com.au/event/01KPZ1HHS5CEP83BCVRKE5MFWW. 🙏
👊 Saturday 27 June, 8:30am to 11am, Savage Boxing Gym - 13 River Road, Gympie.
🍻 Mateship Lunch from 12 noon at Charlie's Hotel ($35pp) - on the corner of Nash Street and Monkland Street, Gympie.
Every dollar and every conversation makes a difference. Let's get behind Glen. đź’—
