A celebration will be held for Hanshi Kevin Blundell on Friday 22nd August in Orange.

Please wear something colourful in honour of his bright spirit 💙🩵

The service will be live streamed for those that are unable to attend in person.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Hanshi Kevin Blundell, founder of Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts System. A true inspiration in Martial Arts and life!

Hanshi Kevin passed peacefully in his sleep early this morning, surrounded by love and respect.

His vision, dedication, and passion have shaped countless lives through martial arts, creating a community grounded in respect, discipline, and growth. We are forever grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.

Hanshi’s guidance and positive influence will live on in every student, instructor, and family touched by Kumiai Ryu. We honour his memory and extend our deepest condolences to his family and all who knew him.

Out of respect, the Dojo will be closed today. Make up classes will be provided due to the closure and training will resume tomorrow.
