Gympie Junior Touch

Hello everyone,
As the play on sports vouchers are due to come out in July at some stage, we will keep our junior registrations portal open for those that need to send a voucher through to be sent a code. Keep in mind that this will only cover your $100 player registration fees. It does not cover the $60 fee that goes straight to TFA for membership and insurance this has to be paid annually at the start of every financial year. Whilst we know this is frustrating, your child will not be able to take the field if they are not registered.

Our season is due to start Wednesday July 29th.
Once registrations are in by the 23rd the teams will be put together by our committee, We understand that you may want your child to play with a friend as and hard as we try sometimes its not possible to fill every request we receive. We try to get the teams as fair as possible so the competition is more enjoyable for the kids to play.

Our age groups at the moment are
U10s comprised of (u8, u9 and u10)
U12s comprised of (u11, u12)
U14s comprised of (u13, u14)

Children can not play up or down in any age group.

Our start times at this stage are
U10 3.40 pm
U12 4.20 pm
U14 5.15 pm
These are subject to change before the competition starts. We will put the first draw out the week of the 29th of July.
Team list will not be posted on social media. You turn up on the day for the age group you are in. Boots or runners and a water bottle and hat. You will be given a shirt to wear for each game which will come back to the team managers after every game to be washed.

If you are waiting for a new play on sports voucher and would like to use it for Touch Football unfortunately your child will have to start after the vouchers come out and your child is registered.

Our Grand Finals are here, Every team is in a final, after our finals we will have winning team presentations, and player of the season. All registered players will receive a popper and sausage on bread. Sausages are also available for purchase. Come on down for a fun afternoon of touch footy.

Here is the draw for today. This will be our last week before semi finals next week.

our Grand finals are on Wednesday the 17th of June, every team will play in a final
