There’s something pretty special about travelling away with your teammates, representing Wollongong and spending three days doing what you love.

Our annual Canberra Teams Event is coming up from October 2–4, and we still have the opportunity for junior players to join this year’s Complete Tennis team.

Players will compete in singles and doubles against juniors from Sydney, Bowral, Melbourne and beyond, with plenty of team spirit and new friendships along the way.

And you don’t need to be an advanced player to take part. Players of all standards are welcome, with teams graded to create competitive matches.

🎾 There’s a lot happening at Beaton Park!

Wollongong City Council has shared an update on the future of the precinct, with plans underway to review the Beaton Park Masterplan and look at how this much-loved sporting hub can continue to meet the needs of our growing community.

And we're pretty proud to already be part of its next chapter.

The new Wollongong Regional Tennis Centre is one of the major projects already delivered, giving our community access to a fantastic new facility and creating opportunities to bring bigger tennis events to Wollongong.

There’s plenty more planned for Beaton Park in the years ahead, and we’re excited to see how the precinct continues to evolve.

And, as council has confirmed, Complete Tennis continues to operate as normal from the Pro Shop, with court hire, coaching programs and competitions all continuing.

The future of sport at Beaton Park is looking exciting. 🎾

For the 24th year, Complete Tennis players will travel to Canberra to compete in the Canberra Teams Event, taking on juniors from Wollongong, Sydney, Bowral, Melbourne and beyond.

It’s three days of singles and doubles, representing your team, meeting new players and competing for the Teams Challenge Shield 🏆

And the best part? Players of all standards are welcome, with teams graded to help create competitive matches.

North Wollongong Social Pickleball runs weekly indoor and outdoor sessions, and there's no need to book. Just turn up, pay, and join in.
