The TAP camps were recently held at Penrith Regional Valley Sports Centre, with our athletes proudly representing Illawarra and showcasing the hard work and commitment they’ve put into their basketball.

A quick update for everyone registered for our Prep 4 Rep program!

Due to a prior venue arrangement that wasn't recorded in our booking system, the Snakepit is required to host a jiu-jitsu tournament on Sunday 27 September. As a result, our final Prep 4 Rep session has been moved.

We’re excited to introduce Assist All Hoops to Illawarra Basketball Association in Term 4! 🦅

Assist All Hoops is a fun, inclusive basketball program designed for participants of all ages with an intellectual impairment.

The program will focus on developing basketball skills and movement, building confidence, making new friends and, most importantly, having fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We’re currently seeking Expressions of Interest from participants who may be interested in joining the program, so we can understand the level of interest and help shape the program around our local participants.

We're excited to partner with Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group to bring our junior basketball community a fantastic education night featuring Illawarra Hawks NBL1 stars Matt Mims and Sophie Johnston.

Every junior player attending will take part in a shooting clinic with Matt Mims, while parents can learn practical ways to help keep their young athletes healthy and injury free.

🎉 Plus, every attending family will automatically go into the draw to win a private one-hour basketball clinic with Matt Mims and Sophie Johnston for up to five junior players.

A huge congratulations to Dan Muller & Aidan Cuda on being announced as awards winners for the Youth League 2 Men's Competition.

Dan has had an amazing year as Head Coach of this team and the award is truely deserved! Congrats Dan we are proud of you!

Aidan has also had a quality year, playing a little bit of YL1 as well and leading from the front with this group of lads!
