Have you tried “bro-lates” yet.
We’ve been trialling it on Friday’s, Sean O'Shea in charge of this one. So far, the gents have been pretty pumped with this session 😂
Keen to be a part, let us know!
*brolates is not a real training protocol. This is tried, tested, and researched resistance training which is what we know works best to build strength & muscle. We’re just having a little fun.
Performance Personal Training
PPT is the gym that gets busy people the health & fitness they desire. Whether its fat loss or strength, our team is here to guide you
Our supportive community delivers guidance & everyone is treated as an individual, not another number. MACARTHUR'S BEST PERSONAL TRAINERS! Since 2013, we've been helping people who take both family and career seriously, take back their health and fitness and achieve long-lasting body transformation results. We’ve found that many people just don’t know how to get the right start on their fitness, h
Who knew Concept2 Australia rowers had games?
PPT’s favourite Jacob did, and he’s a master at it.
He’s been challenging the coaching team and schooling them on how it’s done, the latest casualty Mary Galluzzo Elasi - she stood@no chance!
Who is up for the challenge next?

Hate to break it to you, but the $200 (or more) you just spent on new sneakers aren’t a good idea for your resistance training sessions.
When we lift weights ( particularly with deadlifts and squats), we want to be able to generate force from the ground up, with 100% of that going into moving the weight, not into the absorbency of the soft, cushioned shoe.
It doesn’t end there.
Under load, the foamy soles shoes can cause instability which is not great when lifting weights.
We’re also more aware of our weight distribution through our feet and our foot muscles when we take away the cushion soles. Another important element with lifting.
Plus, if you’re talking specifically deadlifts, some of these soles are so thick you’re also increasing how far you need to lift the bar, and that makes it harder! Deadlifts are already tough enough.
If the idea of going around the gym without shoes isn’t an option for you, try some flat soles shoes for your session. It will take a bit of getting used to, but it will be worth it.
As you get older, you don’t need to accept that everything has to get harder.
If playing with kids has you puffed out….
Walking the dog feels more like the dog is walking you….
Picking up the washing basket requires a warm up so you don’t hurt yourself….
Then you light want to drop us a message.
Not everything needs to be so tough. Those everyday things, they shouldn’t be taking all your energy.
We’re already changing the lives of others just like you, it’s your turn next

When the session got you good!
Conditioning sessions this week have really challenged everyone. Let’s be honest, Mary Galluzzo Elasi could do these on her own time, but instead she gets stuck in with the clients.
It gives you extra motivation.
A push to not stop or back off.
The drive to give your best.
Group training has been redefined and at PPT we’re constantly striving to make it better
Let’s put some things in context.
If you just wanted a cheap gym membership we’re not for you.
We’re not interested in having a crowded gym full of members who only care for themselves, not caring for our equipment or the community.
You know the ones, they hog squat racks while they text friends, throw dumbbells around and act like they’re the only ones in the room.
Thats not the type of gym culture we’ve got at PPT.
We’re all about supporting and guiding you to be your best. The entire community also values that too.
Together by doing this, we’re all winning
