In a repeat of the tournament opener which was a belter of a game Northern Crocs will play Casuarina for the title 7.00pm kick off

COMBINED STATEMENT

TIMOR CUP COMMITEE AND TL GALAXY

In relation the statement released earlier today the Timor cup committee and TL Galaxy have met to release a joint statement to clarify todays game.

Upon completion of last nights game TL Galaxy informed the Committee that they would be unavailable to play today (Thursday) and or Friday if the game was to be rescheduled to accomodate fatigue and or time.

The miscommunication between the Committee and Galaxy was the fact that they would not play. However the fact was, that due to previous injuries and further injuries on the night made the possibility of them fielding a team unlikely. With everything happening on the night I believe that this was purely a misinterpretation of a discussion which was not properly veted on the night.

Justin from TL Galaxy said " We would like to thank the organisers from the Timor Cup for hosting a great tournament over the past 2 weeks and we are bitterly disappointed not to have been able to play the last game and finish what we started. We are grateful to the committee for this clarification as we respect the founding principles of the tournament. Best of luck to Northern Crocs and Casuarina in the final"

Herchel Andrade from the Timor Cup Committee said - " We as a Committee are extremely disappointed at the miscommunication that was stated earlier in the day and apologise to TL Galaxy for that statement issued. In relation to the integrity and the tournament itself we were honoured to have them as part of the tournament and wish them all the best in the future. "
