We have significant numbers of vacancies in our volunteer rosters over the coming weeks.

We need to fill six(6) volunteer positions to be able to operate this Saturday 29/08/2026.

Barcode Scanner
3 x Marshals

Another fabulous morning out at Hanlon Park / Bur’uda for Stones Corner parkrun event # 488.
We had 409 join us, of whom 57 were first timers and 68 recorded new Personal Bests. Welcome to our visitors from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , hope you enjoyed our course (sorry it’s earlier here!)

🙌🏻 Big shout out to Tim, Helen, Nicola and Amanda on our finish funnel this morning! They coordinated our big number of finishers beautifully, ensuring we were in sync the whole time. Thanks to Nicola, who also filled a last minute vacancy on Finish Tokens, too. 👏🏻

Our volunteers make parkrun possible each and every week. Without them, we’re not able to hold our events. We’re a friendly bunch, it’s fun and full training is provided.

This week 355 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 47 were first timers and 57 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 23 different clubs took part.

- token sorter
- photographer?
