Great news, our track is back in action!
Willinda Park is looking a little more like a jigsaw puzzle these days, but the council have done a fantastic job and it's available again for training and public use.

Willinda Park – Track Repairs

Please note that Willinda Park will be closed to all groups from Monday 24 August to Sunday 30 August for track and jumps surface repairs.

There will be no athlete access to the track during this period. Please reach out to your coaching groups to find out about alternative locations.

We’ll be back on Monday 31 August.

🔧 WORKING BEE — HELP US GET READY FOR THE SEASON! 🔧

Diamond Valley Little Athletics Centre is holding a working bee at Willinda Park on Sunday 23rd August, 9am–12pm.

We need volunteers to help prepare the track and equipment ahead of the new season. Many hands make light work — come along for an hour or stay the whole morning, whatever you can manage!

🛠️ If you have gardening tools (rakes, gloves, wheelbarrows etc.), please bring them along.

Great chance to get involved, meet other families and help set the club up for a great season. We'd love to see you there!

Training this afternoon @ Willinda Park.

GOLD in the Racewalk!

Beacroft, you beauty 🥇

19 year old Isaac Beacroft has walked his way to the top step of the podium in the Men’s 10,000m Race Walk at Scotstoun Stadium.

He clocked 38:45.51 to claim victory and add another gold to the tally 🇦🇺

Isaac will go again next week at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene 😤
