Adam is one of our very own Apollo Rockets Committee Member 💚💙

Huge congratulations to Adam on successfully passing his skill assessments and earning his A Grade accreditation! 🎉🏀

Adam joined us as an adult referee, earning his C Grade in August 2024. Just one year later, he progressed to B Grade and has now reached A Grade after officiating an incredible 870 games. Along the way, Adam was recognised as our 2024 Rookie Referee of the Year and finished 5th in the Golden Whistle Award, a testament to the commitment and consistency he has shown across both Junior and Senior Domestic basketball.

Outside of his achievements on court, Adam has become a fantastic ambassador for our referee program. He brings an infectious enthusiasm every time he enters the venue and has built a strong relationship with players, coaches and fellow referees. His professionalism, consistency and genuine willingness to help others has made him a stand out referee over the last few years.

Adam has also embraced the opportunity to help shape the referees coming through behind him. Through his involvement in the Green Shirt program, he works alongside developing officials, offering practical advice, encouragement and plenty of reassurance as they find their feet. His willingness to share his experience and support others is a great reflection of the person and referee he has become.

Congratulations, Adam, on an outstanding achievement! Your A Grade accreditation is thoroughly deserved, and we can't wait to see where your refereeing journey takes you next.
